Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our products, ordering, and design process.
What is PrintedIn?
PrintedIn is a custom printing platform where you can design and order personalized board books, card games, and puzzles. Our online drag-and-drop editor makes it easy for anyone — no design skills required.
Who is PrintedIn for?
PrintedIn is for everyone! Parents creating personalized books for their children, teachers making educational materials, small publishers, gift-givers, and anyone who wants to turn their photos and stories into professionally printed products.
What products can I create?
You can create custom board books (thick-page books for children), card games (memory cards, matching games), and puzzles. Each product is professionally printed with premium materials.
Do I need design skills?
Not at all! Our drag-and-drop editor is designed for beginners. Simply upload your photos, add text, choose from templates, and customize your design. No Photoshop or design experience needed.
Is PrintedIn a B2B platform?
No. PrintedIn (printedin.com) is a direct-to-consumer (D2C) platform. Anyone — parents, teachers, gift-givers — can design and order custom printed products without a business account. Orders start at a 25-copy minimum, with lower per-copy prices at higher tiers (50/100/150).
What materials do you use?
Our board books use thick white card board — 250gsm + 250gsm laminated together — with a glossy or matte finish. Card games use 300gsm cardstock with rounded corners. Our materials are tested to EN 71 (the European toy-safety standard) with non-toxic inks, and printed on FSC-certified paper.
Is the print quality professional?
Absolutely! We use high-resolution digital printing (1200 DPI) with vivid, fade-resistant inks. Every product undergoes multi-point quality inspection before shipping.
Are the products safe for children?
We take safety seriously. Our materials are tested to EN 71 — the European toy-safety standard — and we use non-toxic inks, rounded corners, and thick pages designed for little hands.
How many pages can my board book have?
Board books can have between 6 and 24 pages (3 to 12 spreads). Each page is thick and durable, perfect for babies and toddlers.
What image resolution do you recommend?
We recommend at least 300 DPI for optimal print quality. Our editor will warn you if an uploaded image has insufficient resolution for the selected size.
How does the drag-and-drop editor work?
Our editor lets you upload photos, add text, insert shapes, and arrange elements on each page by simply dragging and dropping. You can resize, rotate, and position everything exactly how you want it.
Can I use templates?
Yes! We offer professionally designed templates for various themes (animals, space, family, education). You can start with a template and customize it with your own photos and text, or start from a blank canvas.
Can I save and edit my design later?
Yes, all your designs are automatically saved to your account. You can come back anytime to edit, duplicate, or reorder any of your designs.
What file formats can I upload?
You can upload JPEG, PNG, and WebP image files. We recommend high-resolution images (300+ DPI) for the best print results.
What is the minimum order quantity?
PrintedIn uses volume pricing. You order in tiers of 25, 50, 100 or 150 copies — the more you order, the lower the price per copy. The minimum order is 25 copies. For larger runs or custom quantities, email support@printedin.com. If your artwork is already finished, send it to us at printedin.com/print-ready and we will prepare the design for you.
Can I order as a gift?
Absolutely! Many of our customers order personalized products as gifts. You can ship directly to the recipient with a custom gift message.
How do I place an order?
Simply create your design using our online editor, then click "Order" to proceed to checkout. Choose your quantity tier (25, 50, 100 or 150), enter your shipping address, and complete payment.
Can I cancel or modify my order?
You can cancel or modify your order within 2 hours of placing it by contacting us at support@printedin.com. After production has started, modifications are no longer possible.
What are the shipping options?
We ship every order with our carrier, Air Kargo, and tracking is included. Delivery is priced as a fixed amount per copy and depends only on how many copies you order — not on the weight of your parcel or where it is going. Nothing is added after checkout: the total you see before you pay is the total you are charged. Estimated delivery is 3–5 business days within Türkiye, 7–14 business days in Europe and the UK, and 10–21 business days to the United States.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to 32 countries: Türkiye, the 27 European Union countries, the United Kingdom, Norway, the United States and Canada. You can see the full list when you choose your delivery country at checkout, and full tracking is provided for every order.
Can I track my order?
Yes, once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to track your package in real-time.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through our secure Stripe payment gateway. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also supported.
Is my payment information secure?
Absolutely. We use Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor — the highest level of security certification. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
Do I need an account to start designing?
You can explore the editor without an account, but you'll need to create a free account to save designs and place orders. Registration takes less than 30 seconds.
How do you handle my personal data?
We take privacy seriously. Your data is stored securely in the EU, encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell your data to third parties. We are fully GDPR compliant with data export and account deletion options.
I already have print-ready artwork — can you print it?
Yes. If your files are already designed you do not need the editor: send us the specification and a link to your artwork from our print-ready page, and we will prepare the design and put it in your account ready to order. Please supply a PDF with 1 cm of bleed on every side, and images at 300 DPI at final print size.
